October 26 Update
With November approaching, its the perfect time to take inventory of things you can do to prepare for the coming season.
Assembling your equipment and checking out clothing come to mind.
There are also some "administrative" items you can attend to, in order to help make your arrival at the Club as simple as possible:
1) Sign the Club waiver - this can be done online in the Members' section of the website, under Quick Links. Note that member badges cannot be picked up without waivers being completed for all active family members.
2) Update your family photos! Send your updated selfie, and selfie's for each family member, to [email protected] and your new photo will be printed on your badge for this season (deadline to submit is Friday November 17th). |

The Craigleith APP
Did you know that Craigleith has an App? If you’re not already using it, please download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for Androids. This will be used as a key communication tool, from hill conditions to booking event tickets - it is where you will go for almost everything!
* Ensure that both the first and second members are registered so that you can each access guest reservations, event ticket sales and other important club information.* |

Get Text Messages this Season!
Want to receive text messages from the Club this season?
The Club will be using one-way text messaging this year to communicate important quick updates or reminders on Club operations or events. This will be in addition to the "push notifications" sent to via the Club app.
To receive text messages, your cell phone number must be listed in the Cell section. So take a moment to check that your cell phone is listed in the cell phone section in your online member profile (in addition to the primary section, if applicable) or email your cell number to [email protected].
An introductory text message will be sent out giving members the option to accept text messaging or opt out.
And while you're checking your info, update your photo so your badge will have your best (and most recent) photo. |

Join our New Member Buddy Program!
Are you interested in expanding your social network while ensuring an exceptional experience for a new member to the Club? We're looking for members willing to serve as "Buddies" to some of our newest members. Our new members include families, seniors and single memberships, so everyone is a candidate!
Key commitments:
- Call new members and introduce yourselves!
- Attend the New Member Breakfast.
- Make them feel at home – if you see them at an Après, introduce them to your friends!
- Take a few turns and show them around.
- Suggest events that they shouldn't miss!
- Be available to answer any questions throughout the season.
- Most importantly, show them a good time!
The members’ needs will determine the level of involvement and time commitment. Some will already know several people and may need minimal assistance, while others will have more questions and need more information. Even if you have only been at Craigleith one season, you are still a great candidate!
Please contact Lesley Case at [email protected] if you're interested in participating, and we will get you partnered up with one of our new members! |
