Exciting Update - Food & Beverage at the Club!

Fellow Members,
I am excited to announce the expansion of the Club’s offerings to the membership by informing everyone that we are bringing our food and beverage service “in house”.
The Board, F & B Committee and management have been considering options for this valued aspect of our Club's culture. The future expansion of our kitchen facilities, an important element of the Base Lodge expansion plan that was overwhelmingly supported by the membership, will allow us to do so.
Our goal is to substantially improve our food and beverage offerings, both in terms of menu (quality, variety, pricing) and the level of service. As I am sure you are aware, with change comes challenge, and we will appreciate your support while we work through this transition.
As a first step in this process, General Manager Jeff Courtemanche, Assistant General Manager Natalie Bennett and HR Manager Kate Sparling are working with the F & B Committee to hire a Food & Beverage Manager. Subsequently, the F & B Manager will work with management to build out the Club’s F & B team.
We look forward to providing you with updates as this exciting new direction develops.
We recently advised Peasemarsh Farm of this decision. We thank Chris Bishop, Simon Bailey and the Peasemarsh Farm staff for their service over the past three years and wish them all the best.
