March 17 Update
Happy St. Patrick's day! And National Dual Championships with Silent Auction in support of the NZ Foundation. It's been an excellent March Break so far, with more fun to come. Take a moment to review this week's update:
Club Operating Schedule
The Club is open daily through March Break up to and including Sunday March 20th.
The Club will then be closed Monday March 21 through Wednesday March 23, re-opening with the Little John and National chairs for Thursday March 24th and Friday March 25th.
For the weekend of March 26th and 27th, we anticipate all lifts and trails will be open.
The Club will then be open for skiing on Saturdays and Sundays. Our goal is to reach Easter weekend, weather and snow permitting. For Easter weekend, we would be open Good Friday (April 15th), Saturday April 16th and Easter Sunday on April 17th. The Club is closed Easter Monday.
Changes in our operating schedule will be communicated via the email bulletin and on the Trail Report on the Club's website.

Accessing / Cleaning Out Your Lockers
When your season comes to an end, we ask you to remove all items from your locker(s) – including all items stored on top of lockers - to allow for annual maintenance and cleaning.
The exception to this is for those members who select the Off Season Locker Program – please see the details outlined in the next section below.
We ask that you also remove your lock(s) however, all shelving, hooks and customized attachments can remain in the locker, providing you plan to pay for the same locker next year.
Members with lockers in the South Lodge should note that all lockers must be emptied by the end of the season, including locks and personal accessories
If you know you are not planning to use the same locker next year, please remove all belongings and advise Cindy Brown via email at [email protected] , so that you are not billed for the locker with your annual dues, and the locker can be put back into inventory and assigned to another member for next season.
Off Season Locker Rental Program
We are once again offering the locker program that provides members with the option to leave belongings in their locker during the off season. Here are the details:
- the new program applies to Family Cupboard lockers in the Base, and North Lodges only. All lockers in the South Lodge must be completely empty by the end of the ski season.
- members who choose to leave their items in any of the above noted lockers during the off season are asked to advise or Cindy Brown ([email protected]) and provide their locker combination
- please leave only skis, snowboards, snowshoes, helmets, boots – we suggest you take home all clothing items as they may become fragrant and moldy (if left damp) during the season – and please be absolutely certain to throw out any perishable items to prevent infiltration of bugs, mice or other nasty stuff
- those who leave items stored in above noted lockers will be automatically invoiced $100 + HST after June 1, 2022 for a summer rental /storage fee
- members are automatically assigned the same locker each season and regular locker fees will be billed accordingly with annual dues, unless lockers have been cancelled by the member
- requests to change lockers should be sent to Cindy Brown during the offseason –[email protected]
- members with skis and snowboards in the South Lodge Ski Locker building are asked to remove those items at the end of their season – we advise against leaving items in this building over the summer as it does get very warm in there, which is not great for skis or boards – and we conduct annual cleaning and maintenance which requires the building to be empty
- any questions on this program, please contact Cindy Brown via [email protected]
See you on the weekend!
