On March 16-18, 2023, Craigleith Ski Club is hosting the 2023 FIS World Cup Ski Cross Finals. This action-packed competition features the world’s best ski cross racers including Canada’s winning team who will have their eyes on top of the podium. This is the first time FIS has chosen to host the Ski Cross Finals at a private ski club.
Over two exciting days, the top women and men ski cross athletes will be competing for the coveted World Champion Crystal Globe. Ski Cross is one of the most exciting ski disciplines with speeds reaching 90 km/hour and jumps over 20 meters! To get a better sense of just how exciting ski cross is check out this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90lCWTDHtXE
But the fun doesn't end with the naming of the new World Champions!
Immediately following the World Cup competition, Craigleith will host a NORAM Ski Cross Race and the Canadian National Ski Cross Championship. These events will run from March 19 - March 22.
This is a great opportunity to see the best in Canada, and all the up & comers on the North American circuit.
We need you to Volunteer!
To ensure success, we need a large and dedicated volunteer force to fill the 800+ volunteer slots. Our Craigleith Coyotes will be the backbone of the critical race course positions plus there are many additional ‘inside the fence’ roles and administrative and other support roles.
We are also seeking individuals who would be willing to take on ‘Team Lead’ positions to manage small teams for specific tasks.

The Priority Craigleith member sign-up deadline is January 26th, 2023.
Thank you to those who have already signed up. Keep your eyes open for a welcome email.
We have a dedicated page on our website for this exciting week. This page will be updated frequently, so please check back often.
We’ll keep everyone updated through our weekly bulletins, lodge monitors, social media, etc.
This is a massive undertaking for our club, both for our various staff groups and, of course, our volunteers.
We will try to keep disruptions to a minimum and thank you in advance for your support, patience and understanding during the lead up to and execution of this event.
Sincerely,
Ski Cross Working Group |
